Barry Nguyen

Barry graduated from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2005. He began his career as a registered Physiotherapist in private practice and continues to further develop and refine his clinical skills in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, through participating in Continuing Professional Development courses, as well as discussing clinical issues with Melbourne’s leading orthopaedic surgeons and specialist physiotherapists.

He has special professional interests in Chronic Pain, Headaches, Lower Back Pain, McKenzie Approach to the Lumbar Spine, Sports Injuries, Work-related Injuries, Occupational Health, Motor Vehicle related Injuries, and Dry Needling.

Barry currently holds a position on the External Advisory Committee for the re-structuring of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Program at Latrobe University.

He also actively contributes to the Research Team for the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine, at the University of Melbourne.

Barry enjoys taking a ‘holistic’ and ‘customer-centric’ approach and in assessing and helping resolve his patients’ problems.
