Senior Physiotherapy Associate (Graduate)
My name is Gin, and I have been with Physioscience since the early days.
Shortly after my graduation from Melbourne University from
Physiotherapy, my first job was with an established national
physiotherapy organisation. The working environment was not what I
had expected and i was dis-illusioned as a physiotherapist in private
practice.
However, Barry, the Managing Director of Physioscience has reignited
my passion for private practice by keeping me inspired and motivated
with his own passion for private practice. Physioscience being a
smaller organisation, the team is more closely knitted and we are
well- supported by Barry and Ali.
Physioscience has an “open door” policy such that Barry and Ali,
whilst being our managers have always been flexible to new suggestions
and encourage an abundance thinking mentality with the team.
There are also many great initiatives from the regular emails to the
team to keep everyone involved and to share positive ideas, and
success stories within the team. There are also regular seminars
organised to provide ongoing education in a smaller group setting and
to promote ongoing relationships within the team.
I feel that working with Physioscience, is like you are working with a
group of close friends as you are having so much fun at work. The
passion for private practice and business development which Barry
exhibits is also the driving force behind me re-gaining confidence in
physiotherapy as my profession.
Lastly, as a graduate, Physioscience has mentored me both from a
professional as well as from an emotional perspective, and I have
matured from a physiotherapist fresh out of university to one who has
built a varied caseload.
